River's Watch - A specialty care wing designed for those residents who require more assistance

Suffield by the River also offers River's Watch, a specialty care wing for residents who require more assistance due to either physical constraints or memory impairment  (including Alzheimer's care). River’s Watch is ideally suited for residents whose anxiety or physical needs would make constant supervision and companionship beneficial. River's Watch consists of private apartments with its own dining room, lounge and recreation centers, and a landscaped sensory patio garden specifically designed for its residents. River’s Watch is designed for residents who require more supervision yet do not require the skilled level of care that a nursing home provides.

The monthly rental fee for residents living in River's Watch includes the following:
  • 24-hour supervision, including access controlled doors

  • Three meals per day

  • Medication management

  • Assistance with activities of daily living

  • Linen and personal laundry service as needed

  • Housekeeping as needed

  • Activities program

  • Emergency Call and Response System Monitored 24 Hours a Day

  • All utilities except telephone and cable
