Suffield by the River also offers, on a monthly rental basis, The Villas, which are single homes on its campus. The Villas are duplexes of 2,000 square feet, and are separate from Suffield by the River’s main building. The Villas offer an independent lifestyle, are 100 percent handicapped-accessible and have all the amenities and services available to residents of Suffield by the River. The best of both worlds – the independence of your own home, the amenities of an assisted living community.

No Entrance Fee; Higher Monthly Fee

If you elect this option, the monthly fee is $5,650 for single occupancy and $5,950 for double occupancy. Please see above for services included in the monthly fee. There is a one month security deposit; there is no up-front or community fee.

Entrance Fee; Lower Monthly Fee

If you elect this option, you pay an entrance fee of $250,000 (the “Entrance Fee”). Of this amount, 10% ($25,000) is non-refundable. After the first year, and for each year thereafter, an additional one percent ($2,500) is non-refundable. For example, if termination of residency occurs during Year 7, 16% of the Entrance Fee would be non-refundable. The monthly fee is $3,650 for single occupancy and $3,950 for double occupancy.
